Why We Give
Giving is an act of worship and a way we partner together to see lives changed. Your generosity helps support the mission of our church. From weekly services and community outreach to global missions and practical help for those in need.
Every gift, no matter the size, makes a difference. Thank you for your faithfulness and your heart to give!

True generosity isn’t about the size of the gift — it’s about the posture of the heart. Giving becomes powerful when it costs us something, when it’s an act of trust rather than convenience. As C.S. Lewis once said, “The only safe rule is to give more than we can spare.” In giving, we reflect the heart of God, who gave His Son freely and without limit. Whether large or small, every gift is a step of faith, a declaration that we believe in something bigger than ourselves. Giving changes us as much as it helps others!
Ways to Give
You can give by e-Transfer, credit card, in person during any service, or by mail.

E-Transfer
Donations may be sent through your online banking website as follows:
1 – Log into your personal online internet banking website and select Interac e-Transfer.
2 – Next, select Send Money and your bank will walk you through the procedure to send your donation by e-transfer.
3 – When you are asked for the recipient’s name and email address, please use: Grand Valley Church and the email giving@grandvalleychurch.ca. If you are asked for a password, please use the password “379GVC”. Depending on your personal banking institution this may or may not be a required step.
4 – Please include your full name and address in the message section of your first donation for receipting purposes. You will receive an acknowledgement from your bank when the transfer is complete and the donation has been received.
Credit Card
Donate by VISA or MasterCard by finding Grand Valley Church on the Church Center app. You can download the app for Apple here and Android here. You can also visit our giving webpage by clicking here, this website and the app can be used for a one-time donation or to set up recurring donations.
Fees of 2.2% plus $0.30 are charged per transaction; please consider this as you plan your giving.
In Person
Donations can be placed in the secure donation box in the main auditorium during services, other events or office hours. Our office is open Tuesday and Thursday, 9:30-3:00.

By Mail
Cheques can be mailed to 379 Golf Rd. Brantford, Ontario, Canada N3T 5L8
Please double check your name and address is clear on the outside of the envelope for tax receipts purposes.

See our donor policy here. Grand Valley Church will receipt all donations over $20 in a calendar year.
